We’re requiring all our employees and contractors to wear face coverings when they can’t keep at least six feet from other people on our system or at work sites.
This new requirement, which goes into effect Monday, May 11, means you’ll see more bus operators, supervisors, fare inspectors and station cleaners wearing face coverings. MAX operators, bus operators driving empty buses and employees with medical issues that prevent them from wearing face coverings may not be required to wear them.
We strongly urge all riders to wear face coverings as well.
