Portland Mardi Gras Parade brings the spirit of New Orleans to North Portland with a lively, neighborhood-powered celebration. Expect colorful costumes, dancing krewes, stilt walkers, and plenty of brass band energy as the parade rolls through the streets.

It’s a joyful, free event that blends music, community, and a whole lot of sparkle, making it a perfect excuse to bundle up, grab a spot along the route, and celebrate Carnival season Portland-style.

The parade steps off at 7 p.m. starting near Humboldt St and proceeds down Mississippi Avenue to Cook St., just past Fremont.
